Enders Project (ZoE 3)

So Konami and Hideo Kojima have finally announced a new Zone of the Enders game, however things seem to have changed quite a bit.

Holy crap. That's Jehuty.

Immediate speculation was that it was possibly/probably a reboot of sorts, however we soon got word that it isn't.

According to Twitter user Magu, who attended the event, the project is a sequel to Anubis(2nd Runner) set not in a futuristic setting, but in an ancient civilization.

So now the ball's really up in the air. Prequel? Possibly, although I like this idea a lot more.

Orbital frames got too jacked up on Metatron, and became god-beasts, sending humanity back into a fantasy-like dark age with their bullshit.

If this isn't the backstory, I will be surprised.

Sounds a bit like Turn A Gundam, with Orbital Frames blasting humanity back to the dark ages.

Although this is also just starting so anything/everything is still subject to change.

Looking forward to the HD collection so I can finally play 2nd Runner, and now I've got this to look forward to as well. I'm actually starting to like the idea of Devil Jehuty. As much as I love the original designs, imagining this one tearing shit up with a much more feral style, complete with the joint-cracking leather-stretching sound effects they always use to emphasize that something is organic, just sounds amazing.

That link tried to give me spyware.

Secondly, Jehuty's arm blade was always built in.

Oh, weird. Sorry about the link. I'll see if I can't find another link.

Oooh, so it always been built in. I see, been to long since I last played ZoE.
