well i joined for now cuz i just picked up ACVD during the plus sale right when i turn the game on i do the initial pilot naming and what not and join the team i dont even have a AC made or anything and everyones waiting in a room and apparently they were all yelling at me to rendezvous with them for like 10 minutes i sent multiple messages with text chat and it seems none of your team actually knows how to utilize it :[ thanks for the rank A trophy though

so ACVD was 5 dollars today and it gives me an excuse to do my yearly round and pester everyone here. if you guys dont remember i thought ACV was garbage and i traded it in after about 4 months. within that time frame i helped the ACU core team take all territories for world domination. i guess wallhopping and flying through a city at ridiculous speeds was what they thought was the norm for a mecha game, instead of mechanics and customization. popped in ACVD today, wouldnt read my saved game (WTF), so i have to restart from scratch with junk parts. did anyone from the ACU core team get anything special for getting the team to top 5? the UI is still terrible in this game, shopping and installing parts is almost unbearable. the heightened challenge is welcoming though. still not a fan of the new controls but i like the fact you can change literally any control, even directionals. I just like to play games with default controls for some reason. the story pacing and even the storytelling seems miles ahead of ACV, wtf was going on in ACV? i dont even know. something about robots on fire and punching trains at top speed i got pretty lost. i see they stuck with the whole scan mode and KE, TE, CE thing which is a annoying at times cuz then you cant be as creative in duels so it causes cookie cutter builds. online play seems a lot smoother but the whole text chat system is still annoying especially with the terrible UI. im 50/50 on the graphics. while its a vast improvement over its predecessors the grittiness is just a way to mask how next-gen the graphics really arent. sometimes you cant even tell if youre hitting the guy because of all the masking. it says ineffective hit when im spraying my gatling gun but my battle rifle seems to be hitting dude and his AP isnt flying down. i guess the main reason i hated the ACV series is because the AC's look pretty retarded. when the hell did ACs turn into retarded mechawarriors. also NO CG INTRO!?! i mean i know we all just skip it every time to go work on schematics and go boosh boosh boosh and blow things up, but starting the game and not watching a CG intro actually crushed me. atm i give the game a 3.5/5 but i feel like it might get bumped up to a 4/5 when i play through the bosses and what not

^hell yeah! i wanted hawks vs pens in the finals. they got wiped quick by boston somehow game 6 was amazing though, the whole time im thinking "fuck its gonna get pushed to game 7". then the 2 goals in 17 seconds happened the hawks roster is so deep now its gonna be sad when we lose some players. pens on the other hand are just stacking their first 2 lines....

no its still the same old DoA, the rock paper scissors of all fighting games. most fighting games wont have anything thats truly "innovative" nowadays. If thats what youre looking for stop looking at traditional fighting games and go pick up UFC or WWE. dont know what you really mean by innovative though, blazblue had a decent story mode, skullgirls is a western fighter built off eastern principles (way more influence than any Boon games [injustice, Mortal Kombat, etc.]), Tekken 6 had that awful scenario mode, sony smash bros is a fighting game on smash bros mechanics; i mean theres really not much you can do with a fighting game. you cant really make it first person or give people grappling hooks and prestige characters. you get characters, you get levels, you get moves, you brawl. DoA being considered competitive is still a joke atm even when on "pro" mode compared to action mode. dont get me wrong if youre not looking for a competitive game this games great, put the characters to random and the levels to random and just keep restarting with some friends. didnt know they added the bouncing boobs thing with the controller now though lol, it was a great 2 minute novelty in ninja gaiden then it was forgotten forever.

friend brought over arkham horror, it was ok. i like more simpler ones like pandemic i really want to buy Risk Legacy, the concept seems awesome. you literally keep changing the board and pieces every game you play, upgrading new pieces and literally throwing out units that you dont need anymore. i can always play classic boards games like monopoly, life, etc.

need moar sensitivity most of your shots are upper body, are you just golding the DSR or do you not like the ballista and XPR? also everyone keeps QQing about how the recent hotfix made lag comp worse than when the game launched and totally undermined the revolution patch you notice a difference?

people that still say this either have a horrible internet connection, suck or will never get used to blops 2 mechanics. did you put "best" connection type? also LMG's just got buffed, ADS in and out time got reduced so quickdraw actually does something on them now, the HAMR was a piece of shit before but now its the new stoner. also with the new patch AR's actually compete against smg's now i usually always maintain a 1.5 kdr when i have a decent or shitty connection, getting packet loss, high ping and if im host or not. when everythings going the way it should i usually hit a 8+ kdr and i dont really care about kdr its just a way to gauge and explain how rounds go. i tanked mine anyways by golding my knife atm and getting diamond on my AR's lol

is nobody playing this? lol xbox players lets group and make kids butts bleed i only get in a few hours a week bout to diamond my AR's like a boss SMG's are overrated its really situational but against a decent shooter youre probably going to win CQC only 30% of the time with anything if youre not ADS except for SMG's and some shotties. each SMG really has a different feel to it and you really have to adjust your play style with each SMG instead of running around and shooting at everything. they buffed the MSMC's recoil slightly so its not such a laser as before, but with the long range barrel and laser sight its still a force. love the AN94 with a laser sight if you play solidly youll only get jumped by kids with SMG's once in a while. but right now FAL is the most popular gun and probably the most advantageous. (of course not in CQC but thats why you have teammates and secondaries)

the reflex sight? adds a tiny bit of range now, i usually swap it out with a laser sight for more hip firing action the KSG shoots slugs now so if you miss you dont even do shit, so it works like a pump action sniper rifle now.
