Well, one of my favorite series won't be repeating anymore.

In all honesty the series felt like it was going downhill anyway. The story here was bad and lacked horror, which was the unique selling point of Dead Space to begin with. Universal ammo and all is good, but the action element really took away from the horror.

 

I almost rather appreciate EA axing Dead Space in light of the fact that many franchises which continue to exist for the purpose of being milked for all they're worth end up bearing mediocre quality. Plus it's only a rumor at this point. (Edit: someone who agrees with me.)

 

But, yeah, fuck EA.

The worst part? Even if this was a good game, it would have to sell 5 million to be "profitable", according to EA.

 

Gotta fund those fancy cutscenes somehow.
