Greatsword left and grand lance right is more practical anyways. I never even had a build that had two grand lances in the inventory. YUNG MASTERLESS GLENCOUR Posted August 7, 2014 Report Share Posted August 7, 2014 always if i were gonna write a story I'd have to see the art first hahaha I don't even have an idea for a story atm i was gonna write a ds2 fanfic but I got over the idea fairly quick I wanted to write about how Ornstein never recovered from the death of his friend Smough and so he got hooked on huffing resins and chewing grass to forget the pain. I'm always more partial to traditional over digital (original looks like pen and marker, with a touch of digital), I like the roughness of the original, but the digital is nice. I do miss the freckles as well! Also in original she appears to be looking at viewer while in the remake it looks more like she's looking at something else, not a bad thing just saying. Also in digital, her hair in front of eye could be bumped out more (bigger hair/more volume) to give more shape and balance to her face. Taurus Posted August 10, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 10, 2014 (edited) seems like u guyz like how I draw by traditional style more than digital style huh.... after comparing, I like an old one for total mood and how I'd use pen stroke while I like a new one for total coloring (my brother also comment the current too. he says "bro, if you had do one more thing like hardest shade of coloring, this thing might be perfect") anyway, since I still had time at least 3 months b4 real Halloween, so I could improved her if I want to. (and gud enough to get comments from u guyz without talk about her boobs....) edit : almost forgot, last night I'd redraw her within less than 2 hours. Just don't get down on your digital, it's good and your brother nailed it. It needs more contrast, more true dark's, right now it's pretty bright without much to counter it. As for other comments, I guess just the part I mentioned earlier about the hair to help shape her face. Also I like the skin coloring on the original more, the remake is pretty strong on the pink tones. Another big factor that might lead people to prefer one over the other would also be the fact that her facial structure is actually a bit different when comparing the two, the original she has a more rounded and compact set of features and in the remake her face is noticeably longer including the angle of her mouth and the height and wideness of her eye, not to mention the missing freckles. But yeah, main thing at this point would be to get more contrast in there, more definitive lights and dark's. I would also like to see your redraw.
