    Street Fighter V

I'm not sure about that. http://criticsight.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Street-Fighter-V-5-Balrog-Juri-Urien-Criticsight-Im%C3%A1genes-8.jpg He looks like a monkey.

  3. I agree, this style seems the most fleshed out. It retains cartoony elements while being more realistic. The unique pose and angle certainly help as well, haha.

    Taurus's Art Deck

I, too, see a lot of v-shaped angles. And triangles have three v angles. Taurus, are you in with the Illuminati?
  5. I know we have a lot of feminist sympathizers on ACU so here's a little something special. http://comicsalliance.com/files/2016/05/bitchplanet-BACKUP-for-Back-Cover.jpg?w=630&h=510&zc=1&s=0&a=t&q=89
  6. Okay, so I downloaded the Play store release on my old Note 2 and I've checked out Quick Play a few times. Now, I know you don't make games for a living, or at least I don't think you do, but I'm going to give somewhat of a harsh criticism. First off, I'm surprised the game was as big as it was. Despite what it says in the store, it takes up almost, what, 100 Mb when viewed from storage? Is this simply a matter of optimization or...? Secondly, the characters still have animation issues. Even in that trailer you can see the stutter and frame skipping for Ritrika. What's more, when too many things are loading on the screen, it starts lagging like a motherfucker. Next, I also think you can improve on character movement controls. The placement of the buttons (or the input detection areas, whatever they're called) are too far apart. Sorry that I have small Chinese hands, but I can't reliably move diagonally with a single thumb. But I know it's a possible input combination, because two fingers will do the job. It's just that, well, two fingers on the left side of the screen is pretty awkward. Maybe I have high standards, or I'm just too used to successful mobile games that have thousands of downloads. But I'd expect a mobile game to have better touch capabilities, such as smooth, touch capacitive scrolling that responds to the location of your finger. If nothing else, I'd at least expect a swipe input for scrolling during character selection. But instead the menu relies on the arrow buttons or highlighting a character to scroll, and it's unorthodox and clumsy to say the least. Along the same line of developing for mobile games, if you release something on Android, be sure to have proper phone button functionality. Every single smartphone running Android will have a Back key. Either program it to act as the pause button, or at the very least let it pause the application to show a pop up asking if people want to leave the game. I wouldn't put it past other people to accidentally brush against the Back key in the middle of a session and have the game close without user confirmation. Aesthetically, I suggest just removing the controller designations from every button. If it's a mobile game, the majority of players will be using their hands, not an external controller, and in any case, button functionality on controllers is pretty universal already. I don't think you need to add ABXY shortcuts to menu options when they can just use the pad to scroll through, and A to confirm. I know what I've written is quite a lot to take in, for multiple reasons, but I do think it's a fair assessment of what can be improved. Otherwise, I don't find it much too different from playing on the computer.

    Dark Souls 3

    Damn, I'm sexy.
  8. The old princess is the sleepy looking one on the right, yeah? I like her a lot. Those are the eyes of a leader. I'll give your mobile game a spin very soon.
  9. The real question is, can ACU handle all that new traffic?

    Erased

That's fair too, I forgot to mention people who didn't like the way it was adapted. Although I had thought the source material was a manga that's been fully scanlated already, so I bet that's not hard to find. Jackson gave some thoughts a while back on PSO2, the most I could gleam of them was that it was better with some differences.

Sounds less like your opinion doesn't matter and more that you don't have an opinion since you haven't seen it. Besides, if you're into Girls und Panzer then you probably don't have a high bar for enjoyment. You can probably try it out. It's not shit; some people are just more sensitive to suspension of disbelief, plot holes, and non-majestic finales. If you're into thrillers I recommend watching at least to episode 9.

I'm a fan of the show. The finale left me wanting something more but I don't mind that it's not the greatest ending ever. Just because you succeed in something doesn't mean you will live a happy life. People frequently say the kids are too smart, but that's probably cause none of them were honor students at school.
  13. Ahahah, apparently this reached a few eyes this year. http://gematsu.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/April-Fools-2015-Compilation_Random_Armored-Core-6.jpg
  14. How do you coordinate anything over Twitter? And /acg/ looks like it's for Animal Crossing. Who's in charge of the subreddit? I recognize South but no one else. Whoever manages the theme needs to get rid of the custom mouse.
  15. Seriously, why does FROM hate Earth so much? There should be an installment where people use small toy models to fight one another so we don't ruin the world... Let's call it Armored Core Build Fighters!
