Passing for Battlefield's latest. I've just grown to like Battlefield more. Plays better, and shit normally makes sense as to how you die unlike the whole plethora of "how the fuck did that happen?" you normally get with MW.

Although the new perks were interesting for a while. But they haven't gone anywhere with this chain. Everything else still plays the same. Battlefield seems to actually be adding few things every now and again.

I wonder if this will take off as well as all those who came before it.

Anyhow, problems: like I thought, they seem to think quickscoping was an achievement on their part; they said the maps are big with lots of places to hide, which just tells me that they're similar to black ops, big and blocky; tactical insert unlocked at lvl 61? fuck that; support streaks apparently don't end. I don't get how that's supposed to reset when I want to get a uav immediately if I die.

Or you could join modded lobbies. There are quite a few good ones out there, especially pro mod when playing TDM and S&D.

The lack of aim assist sucks with controllers though. Learn to aim with the mouse.

And yet the people that really could pull it off are still doing it in Black Ops (Also patches have made it easier for Bops as well so moot point). It really doesn't matter. If a sniper rifle gets put into the game and isn't sabotaged to mediocrity then quickscoping will exist in one form or another. Either way using other weapons is and probably always will be easier and faster. The only advantage you get doing it with a sniper rifle is you have the opportunity to kill more people per magazine.

And yeah mouse is dope for aiming, but I've always preferred controllers for every other command. Keyboard just feels awkward to me with controls. Maybe it's because the vast majority of my gaming life has been spent on consoles.

That's all crap that I'm already aware of. I don't hate the idea of qs because it's unfair and overpowered of whatever. I hate it 'cause every time I play a random match of SnD, I always end up dependent on three assholes charging in head first with a sniper, and ultimately dying after they shoot one or two bullets. People like that waste other people's time trying to get kills that only satisfy themselves.

Just as well, I've never had a problem using a sniper rifle like a sniper rifle. Never liked the L96 in blops because it was unreliable.

I can understand the first bit there. What do you find unreliable about the l96?

The shitty hit registration for black ops makes the few times when I surely should have had a one shot kill all the more annoying with the l96.

The hit registration is fine.

The game lags and it's possible that those few shots were taken too fast.

The specialist killstreak set seems totally over-powered.

2/4/6/8

2-6 = 1 extra perk

8 = all 15 perks activated

You pick the perks you get for 2, 4, and 6.

I'd pick Hardline for 2, Sleight of Hand for 4, and Quickdraw for 6.

Having all 15 perks would make you incredibly hard to deal with, especially since Hardline @ 2, means you get SoH @ 3, and Quickdraw @ 5.

You get all perks @ 7 kills.

It wouldn't be hard to pick up 7 kills with Extreme Conditioning, Blast Shield, Dead Silence and rushing tactics.

Once you have all 15 perks on, god help your enemies.

MW has evolved from a heavy focus on gun play to an overpowered frenzy. I actually do not mind everything being overpowered as long as balance is maintained. The problem is MW2 was that it was unbalanced.
