SUMERIAN BLOOD GOD
That's the KT I was looking at before I put hands on a P238. It's what my boss carries and is probably my best choice right now.
Shirtless Crackhead
I know a couple of Police chiefs who pack those off duty.
Shirtless Crackhead
http://i.imgur.com/jB1LK.jpg AK with a paintjob upgrade in the form of VHT Flameproof matte black header paint. One 7.62x39mm shell casing hammered over the charging handle to make it easier to get a grip on. Oh and an Ultimak rail/gas tube, going to put a red dot on it tomorrow and see how a cheapo works on the range this weekend. The stock still needs to be re-wrapped with 550 paracord, btw. Shirtless Crackhead
I'd like to get a cool muzzle device for it sometime. http://i.imgur.com/0tS5I.jpg Haven't taken it shooting yet, that'll be sometime this weekend, I hope. It co-witnesses; which means the iron sights are usable through the optic, which is a nice bonus. Brightness doesn't seem to be an issue either. It's made for shotguns, and is supposed to hold up to the recoil of 3" magnum 12ga shells, which is way more recoil than any AK will produce. incinerator950
I've been too mobile and out of the service to get reliable paperwork or licenses to even own one. Haven't fired one in over..four years. I've moved between three-four states in four years, two in the last six months. If I settle down, I'll bite the paper, but I'm moving out of this state in less than six months again. These states have a little difference in their propriety, but mainly how to get them and the time, as well as certain districts where I've lived will be against me owning said fire arms. Thinking of a Rifle first, but I probably suck on the range and I'll have to get used to a .22 before doing anythng useful.
YUNG MASTERLESS GLENCOUR
.22s are fucking cool though.
Shirtless Crackhead
Not as cool as an AK though. Get a Glock.

incinerator950
No, If I get a handgun its a Sig Sauer. I was thinking of one of the AK-47 variants, but I haven't decided. $100 for a .22 isn't bad, but I definitely gave up the idea of the Nagant a while back. YUNG MASTERLESS GLENCOUR
Yeah nagants cost like less than the ammo they fire hahaha
Shirtless Crackhead
Well you can get one for about 10-20 bucks more than 440 rounds of ammo, if you know how to shop. I was going to get some the other day, but they are out until Monday. Not like I'm going shooting this weekend, everything got iced after it rained and the temp dropped. Nomrah
Your AK is looking superb, the Ultimak rail really tops it off. How is the red dot scope holding up, and if you don't mind me asking how much did it cost? Edited February 18, 2012 by Nomrah
Shirtless Crackhead
It needs loctite, but we still need to take it out to 100yrds and see where it's at.
Shirtless Crackhead
http://i.imgur.com/m66Ku.jpg http://i.imgur.com/XXzkU.jpg http://i.imgur.com/D8TYF.jpg http://i.imgur.com/9elNS.jpg http://i.imgur.com/GfdzY.jpg Here's the AK with the new VHT Flameproof header paint finish. We've put ~300 rounds though it since painting it. The finish on the bolt carrier is entirely intact, on the rails there's alittle that's rubbed off, same where the dust cover and safety rubs the receiver. There's a couple of defects that have basically carried over from where the paint wasn't on tight. When we cooked the paint on, we grilled it, the heat wrecked the recoil spring so we had to replace that. I got a bolt for the extra hogue grip I had, so we finally got that installed. The Ultimak is packing a Tasco red dot which has really improved the shootability of this gun, I still need to get a sight tool to dial in the irons but they are not far off. http://i.imgur.com/qaTki.jpg ^ Here's our target we were shooting at the other day @ 50 yards, we had to zero it in a bit, because we put loctite on the screws so the sight didn't come off under recoil, it's been pretty sturdy so far. Shirtless Crackhead
Because most of us who are active in this topic are gun owners, and enjoy realistic guns that are legal for civilian ownership. Plus the AA-12 is a dogged up Saiga 12, which are legal to own.
