"RIGEL is bad" is what you meant to say.

 

Those legs do not lead to speed nor to defense and AP. That leaves you with a slow, flimsy paper weight. Rigel legs are a gimmick and nothing more.

 

Even though you can hangar full-sized weapons, you don't get to utilize them to their best ability because of all the sacrifices you need to take in order to make the load limit. For example, why don't you have back weapons, shoulder weapons, or more defensive frame parts? What benefit is it to have full-sized hangars, but bare backs? You might as well have Judith legs with back weapons. That way, you could at least use all your weapons when or if the situation arises in addition to being several fold more maneuverable. Comparatively, if Rigel legs make you move like a rat, every other leg (baring the remaining tanks and heavy legs) will make you move with the speed and precision of a hummingbird.

 

There is no benefit of using Rigel legs. I don't know how many times I've said it, but you either need speed or AP to dictate the pace of the match. Rigel legs offer neither. Going to LW legs will offer you the speed with comparable defense, going to other tanks will offer you AP and defense with a negligible loss of speed.

edit : again, KIRITUMI, RAIDEN, or ALBIREO.....with these tanks, what is your choice?

I think your hand weapons set is unique, not sure how well it would work though. I suggest changing the back weapons to SCs so that you aren't screwed when someone stays outside your missile and shotty range

I think Rigel legs do have a niche, but not for this idea. Maybe later I'll post my Rigel legs design.

I think the rigel legs' niche could only be realized in AC4, where taking a lightweight tank with dual vega up front and dual cano underneath was pretty damn scary.
