Well since he's here for the weekend we'll be doing the fights this weekend instead. October 31st through November 2nd. I'll update the previous post with the new dates. The fight is rescheduled for then. This means that everyone will only have until 10pm central time of Wednesday night (the 19th) to bet. Remember that bet withdrawal is blocked after 8pm. Nomrah has defeated SUMERIAN BLOOD GOD in the finals 3 - 1. Videos of the finals have been uploaded to YouTube with an embedded video located below. Hooray Nomrah! It is a time for celebration. If you would like to congratulate our champion on his success, join me in sending him a PM with just the message "clap clap" in the body. Use whatever title you like! It's been a long tournament with a lot of breaks, but overall I think it worked out pretty well. The fights were pretty good and there were some interesting upsets that occurred along the way. Everyone really put a good bit of time into both casually and seriously playing 3S for the tournament, so it's definitely helped improve the general level of play as well. I definitely look forward to future 3S VSGC tournaments, though I think I'll wait till spring 2015 before I host another one. It was certainly a blast, every fight was an intense and memorable experience, very different from casuals, so a special thanks to all my competitors. I'd have to say that the duration of this tourney was the most dedicated span of time I've ever had with Third Strike. The betting was also a great addition, contributing a great deal to the excitement.
