I'm probably the last guy alot of people would guess liked classical music, but believe it or not I do.

I'll just share a favorite of mine, since Niji linked me to Yo Yo Ma, I saw someone else I really like.

Rostropovich Bach Cello Suite No. 3 Prelude

EDIT: Mstislav Rostropovich died April 27th 2007, and was buried April 28th; he was an epic man.

I'm partial to Pavane in F-sharp minor, myself. The version I have has a chorus in it as well and IMO sounds even better, but damned if I couldn't find a good version of it. :o

Armored Core has changed.

It's no longer about recreation, originality or ability. It's an endless series of xeroxed metabuilds, made by copycats and sheep. Armored Core, and its consumption of time, has become a hackneyed ruse. Armored Core has changed. Unoriginal players pilot unoriginal ACs, use unoriginal setups. Overpowered weapons on their mech atrophy and degenerate their abilities. Design copying. Weapon copying. Player copying. Tactic copying. Everything is observed, and then copied. Armored Core has changed.

I know that noob and I both enjoy classical music quite a bit. I'm not a fan of all of it either, but there are just some really well done pieces.

I love Gustav Holst's orchestral suite, The Planets.

Funny how, when he composed it, Pluto was not yet discovered.

Bach / Stokowski - Toccata & Fugue in d minor, conductor Paul Mauffray (I like it better in orchestra, even though the conductor looks like a twat)

All of this and not one mention of Edvard Grieg's In The Hall Of The Mountain King? For shame.

For those of you who like classical but don't know where to get a good variety of compositions... 50 Classics for Beginners by Various Artists. It's only $3.99 and you get 50 of them.
