  1. The only thing that's really bothering me is the Pulse machine gun. Either I just can't use them well or Pulse guns highly out class them. Either way I swapped the Davis for Mahaon. But other than that its a solid build for close or far range battles, I did switch out the Legs for the ULG-21 for better stats across the board outside of AP.
  2. Animas are great TE arms if you can handle the weight and drain. The have 2 shoulder slots and 120+ firing stability(can't remember of the number of the top of my head). As for the mobility issues Rainer, or Denali have excellent movement with low drain and you can switch the booster for a hi accel like gale. When I get home I'll be able to see everything. EDIT: You're going to have diffuculties with either defense or speed, this isn't FA so you can't have both. If you want more defense make it a heavy. If you want more speed my first choice would be to switch to ULG-21 and then Denali or Rainer. For the arms I swapped it to the Elbe AM28-2 and the core to UCR-10/A. For the weapons I swapped your Podenka for Lostus because it complements your laser's range. With the ULG-21 legs I added the USG-11/H(shotgun) in the right bay and the USG-23/H(Gatling gun) in the left bay. If you use Denali I kept the core(UCR-10/I) and changed to the arms to the suggestion in the paragraph above and added Oxeye(pistol) and Mahaon(pulse gun).
  3. If you spam Jammers at choke points, such as the EN output or mobility ones, a sniper cannon user would love if some just stops because there EN won't recharge fast enough or they can't move out of the fast enough. I'm curious to how well the recon jammer one works because if they work well a level with crap loads of buildings would be an ambushers dream.
  4. I'm really trying to get actual internet in the house I'm living in, instead of this air-card bullshit. By next month I hope to have it up and running and then I wanna hope on the ACU 360 team.
  5. Overall Game Difficulty - 3/5 It's starts off a little difficult but later on in the game it just becomes rock, paper, scissors(RPS). Default Controls - 3/5 These were the first default controls that felt right for me in the series. But it still didn't stop me from changing them. Gameplay Mechanics - 5/5 I feel like the hit the nail right on the head with this one. It's not crazy fast like FA but it's not slow like ps2 games. Wall jumping is fun, perma-flight is gone, quads and tanks feel like quads and tanks. The RPS game style is neat and I enjoy it. New Features - 5/5 The Ultimate Weapons, Operator mode, conquests, the workshop, and the new fully online feature are all amazing new features to the series. Bugs & Glitches - 2/5 There are minor bugs in the game like a mission freezing after you restock from the garage or get stuck on something invisible. They are bugs minor but for how long this game took to come out these things shouldn't be a problem. Storyline Quality - 1/5 The story was a cookie-cutter Rebellioin story with terrible organization(Going from a flash back to a flash forward, back to a flash back?) and a very quick ending. It had a lot of potential, with the betrayals and the plot twists. If they hadn't put so much time in Ordered missions and them part of the story and fixed it up a bit, I personally would have enjoyed it much more. Mission Quality - 3/5 Outside of the story the missions themselves were actually fun. They mixed it up just enough to keep my attention instead of just; AC BATTLE, AC BATTLE, AC BATTLE, AC BATTLE, AC BATTLE, AC BATTLE, AC BATTLE, AC BATTLE, AC BATTLE, AC BATTLE. Arena (If Applicable) - n/a Didn't have one but I wish they did and got rid of Ordered and combined them with Story missions and then added the arena. Part Balance - 4/5 I like using every part I can except with the occasional over powered weapons, but I'm hoping we'll get updates soon. Part Diversity - 4/5 Really good selections with the exceptions to some useless parts. CG Art & Video - 2/5 Only one CG Video and it was amazing leaving me hungry for more but was never fed again. In-Game Graphics - 3/5 Not a huge fan of this graphic style but the explosions and the heat from UWs, and the light from the lasers weapons were very nice. Voice Acting - 4/5 I like FA's voice acting a lot but this one's beat it by far. The only gripe I have was to of the main characters had extremely similar voices and I had to check the sub-titles to see who it was. Sound Effects - 4/5 The sounds of metal crashing, guns firing, lasers shooting, and UWs activating all were very crisp and clear. Even the menus sound effects were quite good. Background Music - 4/5 I enjoyed the World map music and lots of the mission's music. Multiplayer Mode - 3/5 The North America's side has been having some issues with the launch day servers crashing and the lack of updates, and no spectator mode. One of the best Armored core games to date. They have there problems such as story quality but with the AC games you get them for their customizable fighting mechs. In ACV they delivered quite nicely with 500+ parts, a new team member in the operator, and an all online Risk-esk type multiplayer.
  6. Something I've been using more and more of is Flash rockets on my LWs because HWs and tanks move slow and have a hard time dodging them. It allows me to move in and out freely with little worry of getting hit. Of course I've only used them on single player tanks and HWs, try them out and see how you feel about them.
  7. I haven't unlocked the BR so I assumed it was similar to the Podenka.* I'm just going to go out on a limb here and say this is an offensive sniper quad. With that in mind I swapped the Salem for Zhukolen because if you're playing offensively you'll being moving forward at some point and 5 shots is plenty, 10 is way to many. I added the Sniper rifle to the left bay because you had plenty of load space and this could use some range outside of the cannon. For the body the only thing I changed is the core to the UCR-10/A because it had improvements across the board, outside of the amount of recon units (which the kind you're using have a long "life-span") and the amount of drain. For the internals I swapped the FCS because Glance has 50 better lock range and 65 better Computation while only sacrificing 3 in size. The last thing i changed was the booster to Tempete, but that was because of efficiency and the fact that I added a bit of extra drain.
  8. A good way to set up a single shot SC is to have a LW teammate with sticky recon units and stick them to each choke point and have an operator monitor those area's at the beginning of the round. I love this build I've been using a set-up very similar and have had major success in single player. I was actually making an alternative to the sentry I wouldn't suggestion both unless you're using a pure annoyance AC. I haven't tested any of the Jammers but the movement and turning jammers sound interesting. You could also use the extra magazine with the 3 burst SC with has 18 shots normally but 21 with extra mags. That has replaced my Salem(of course there is also a better single shot SC as well).
  9. When it comes to defense the Salem Sniper cannon is a safer bet because of how many extra shots you can have and each shot does 12k. Where as the AST SC only do 5-6k a bullet and run out of ammo rather quickly. An offensive sniper quad would be a better fit for the AST SC. A jammer could also be used instead of a one the rifles. I haven't used one yet but there are ones that jam EN output, so that would give you a chance to back pedal or just move away all together.
  10. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=362629 Someone did it for me...
  11. The only viable legs for a sniper cannon are the Tetra-pods and Tanks because on a non-Tetra(besides a tank that can't zoom), the bullet won't go in the center of the cross hair it will fire all around it. But so far the Salem kills heavies/Tanks in 4-5/6 shots and LW/MW in 3/4. Getting high up on the map and having a field of view is key. Such as finding path ways in which people have to take like a narrow bridge, canyon or a river. Also, use weapons to complement the SCs such as a Sentry guns, jammers, and Auto guns. I'm planning on making a Sniper Guide once I can do some more testing
  12. I would totally hop on the 360 ACU Team, if i could. I have an Air-card and that's it for Internet, plus the fact that my membership ran out. So even if I go to a friends house I wouldn't be able to play. I might get a membership and see every now and then if I can get on. So I might be a merc for the tIme being.
  13. Honestly it's just another word for dragon.
  14. There's actually a difference?
  15. Saw this awhile ago. It interests me only because I have no online capabilities at the moment.

PRAISE THE SUN http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/038.gif NInetales w/ Life Orb (Drought) Timid Nature (+ Speed , - Atk) IV's: 252 SpAtk / 252 Speed / 4 SpDef - Nasty Plot - Wil-O-Wisp - Fire Blast - Hidden Power Fightning Ninetails opens the show with it's new Drought ability. With the sun, Life orb, AND Nasty plot boosts, fire blast wrecks shit up to start things off. WOW and HPF are for the switch-ins if the other team has a weather option. http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/003.gif Venusaur w/ Life Orb (Chlorophyll) Modest Nature ( + SpAtk , - Atk ) - Growth - Solar Beam - Hidden Power Fire - Sleep Powder Venusaur takes advantage from the sun by speeding up this bulky sweeper. It also uses the sun for a no-charge solar beam and boosting the power of HPF. Sleep powder is an effective option if the sun where ever to go out. I could also use Energy ball for politoed teams instead of solar beam. http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/196.gif Espeon w/ Leftovers (Magic Bounce) Timid Nature ( + Speed, - Atk) IV's: 252 SpAtk / 252 Speed / 4 HP - Calm Mind - Morning Sun - Psyshock - Baton Pass Espeon takes advantage of the sun mainly to heal to set-up a calm mind sweep or pass to either Venusaur or Ninetales. http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/113.gif Chansey w/ Eviolite (Natural Cure) Bold Nature ( + Def , - Atk ) IV's: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpDef - Aromatherapy - Wish - Sunny Day - Toxic Naturally a support Chansey, but with a few tweaks to help out the team. http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/392.gif Infernape w/ Life Orb (Blaze) Adament Nature ( + Atk , - SpAtk ) IV's: 252 Atk / 252 Speed / 4 HP - Flare Blitz - Close Combat - Grass Knot - U-turn Because this team is at it's max potential when the weather is sunny, the most effective counters are Tyranitar, Hippowden, and Politoed. So inferape can destroy Tarman and can put up a good fight against the hippo and the toad (Though Venasaur is much better at countering the toad). http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/091.gif Cloyster w/ Leftovers (Skill Link) Relaxed ( + Def , - Speed) IV's: 248 HP / 175 Def / 84 Atk - Icicle Spear - Rapid Spin - Spikes - Surf An awesome rapid spinner with an awesome ability to boot. Icicle spear wrecks dragon and ground types and surf can cover me from the other fire types that want to take advantage from my sun. Because I'm bored at home, when I'm not working, I decided to mess around with Pokemon again and I thought i try out a weather team. I'm on the fence whether to use Espeon or maybe switch it out to another chlorophyll, or fire user but i feel it's ability to bounce back all the crap seems useful to me.
  20. So with sniping being a bane for Tanks and Heavies, so would a team that utilizes Heavier ACs would consider a LW or Counter sniper to eliminate that weakness to a degree? I have no idea how most of the game works, aside from what I've read and seen, which is why I ask. Also, Tanks can't use zoom, again from what I've read, are there any other classes that can't?

  23. Back when I was able to play football and wrestling for my school my weight would be 171 at the lowest and around 190 at the highest. I played defensive line in football and was in the 171 weight category(most of the time) in wrestling. During wrestling season I would do a LOT more conditioning and more weight lifting during football. The one drill I hated more than hitting the Mats was we started doing 10 pull-ups the sprint across a field(about 5-7 second sprint depending how fast you were) then, dropping doing 20 push-ups the sprint back to the pull-up bars and do 9 reps. Sprint back 19 push-ups and back again to the pull-ups. Once you reached 1 on pull-ups you would go back up to 10 until we only did 1 push-up. Those days were rough, but my max bench was 340. I had a lot fun and I need to get back into it.
