True, she does feel uninspired. Out of all the characters, I think I put the least thought into her. I really need to work more on her design, especially as you say, the hairs too much like other women in the series. Yeah, the ninja is awesome and nearly finished.

oh wow, thats my fave chick design i think, even ahead of the cat girl

 

damn man u nailed the colors for both excellent work my guy

 

also having that group shot really highlights the lack of creativity in the mage girl

 

thing is i think with some minor tweaks you could really have something there, cuz i mean the basic idea is strong and sometimes less is more so to speak

 

i dunno i gotta leave it to you cuz u got ur own way of doing things but i will say this: you can do better

Thanks, TTL, I wanted her to look like a strong type, which the female side of the roster is lacking. Others like the hair girl are strong melee fighters too.

 

Yeah, gonna need to work on the mage girl some more, she really is lacking. But I'll need to make her have clothes that are different from any other playable girl too. Yeah, I'll have to brainstorm some more on her sometime. Or just some minor changes. Her color is orange hair/light blue clothes by the way. The ninja is either gray or all red or red/gray. But yeah, mage girl really is missing something.

 

Anyways, new 3D art, Boulder Bash and Hairietta{except for her haid, the rest of her is made of super strong hair, which she uses as a body to fight}.

Yes, and her name is really awesome at describing her hair razing power, lol.

 

The Rock guy is a pure melee brawler, his body is his weapon, which is the theme of these two. They don't use hand held weapons, they are the weapon. Theirs pros and cons to this, but I will list it later. Basically, Rock guy is slow, but punches hard, and has really high defense.

 

Anyways, tried turning a character design that isn't my own into 3D. From a 2D fighting game. Try to guess which! You can find this game on steam.

By the way, this was the hardest molding so far. Well, it was straight forward, but for some reason, despite starting in the morning, didn't finish until now. Although I did have stuff to do during the day, usually most other 3D molds that I worked on in segments through out the day where done by the afternoon. {This is why I prefer to just sit and finish something from start to finish, I get this snowball affect where I got more done the longer I was sitting. Stopping only for lunch and so.

TTL: It's a game published by the same publishes of Blazblue and Guilty Gear. I got it on steam during the end of the year sale or holiday sale on I think.

 

Nomrah: Thanks! And even though I took a lot of time on it, I pushed my computer's limits since the tri amount was higher than the other models.

 

Finally made a true rig, and posed it after. No more open arm character model posts, lol.

The bosses in this game are SNK levels of cheap:

 

The game has a scene and gets side tournaments at most major FGC events like EVO.

 

It happens to be a animuwaifufighter too. But the gameplay is really, really well thought out.

Anyways, paused the 3D research to finish my games. I finally compiled a native PC exe for the game. The only glitch is that there is no sound. But the game is definitely PC material, plays really well on it. When I port it to mobile, an average mobile phone like mines can barely handle it. TTL: Thanks, since he can make shell bullets, he can make a hoverboard with blue traily things too.

 

Anyways, made a game.

 

Preparation for when Rayburst goes multiplatform, wanted to test out Google Play, so I released two games on it, but I would say this is the better of the two.

Yeah, this Ritrika new design is better. As for Phreit, I made his straps equal for 3D purposes, due to mirror mechanics, but I should not let that affect the design{I was about to change Ritrika's hair style again, but perhaps I shouldn't worry about that and take the slightly harder route to let their designs be more interesting.}

 

I still need to work on the holster on his back, that's where he puts his gun. In previous designs, it was just like a small strap on his belt that he attached it to, and in another, it was on his back.

 

Anyways, I've been trying to make a banner for when I do go Steam greenlight for the game. Although, if I just go with the game as is, I would include just the 4 characters, but if I go both steam with kickstarter to get some funding to add 3 more characters as well as redo the sprites to be smoother in animation, then I'd go with the pic that has all of them, but then again, might just go with that and explain those are future characters in the sequel.

Some stuff I want to improve are the sprite animations, possibly add two more characters, most likely the ogre and dragon in 2D. And just work on the mechanics of the system itself so that it feels more fluid. But I can only do that if the game gets enough of a following, otherwise, it'll be stuck like this.

Anyways, here's a new build, with Grafto having "Darkness" type powers, which was how it was originally meant to be, but for whatever reason, I was saving it for a sequel. And the system of the game is changed drastically too, but returning to the default setup from early 2015. This time, I've added red bleeps that tell you where the enemy is ahead of you, a bit primitive, as this was the most memory efficient way I could employ it.

These are the controls:(in asdw, hjkl, and uiop groups)

ASDW = Movement

H = Special Attack

J= Normal Attack

K= Signature Movement (Propulsion, hovering, flying and crap.)

L= Power Pump (All the others) / Reload (Phreit Nor's gun)

U = Angle Control / Tech Pump {Grafto}

I = SKILL switch {Gotta be over lv.1, Max level is 6 for 7 skills per character at lv6.)

O = Energy recooperation {The yellow bar, also works on the red bar, which is the equivalent of acid build up in your muscles)

P = Zoom in / out

Spacebar = Inventory where you use gems and crap to git gud.

Sometimes, I want to make it into a comic, but I know I don't have the resources or skill for it, lol. I'll just stick to what my stats are optimized for, until I have the mula to make stories in my free time.

His face is all wrong, lol. It's been a while since I've drawn any of them, if I stop drawing a character for a week or two, when I try drawing them again, they come out really different sometimes.

 

He's actually not the smiling type, and his face is thinner and more angular, it came out too squarish. His eyes aren't right either. He's suppose to look serious, but my art game was off last night anyway.
