By the way, what does everyone think of some of the redesigned demons? I personally think some work nicely (Asmodeus) others just.... not so much. I'm trying to think of a good example but I got none off top. btw I caught the black samurai so that's where I am at. Mainly excited to be wearing that red armor all the hunters in shinjuku wear I don't care about anything else right now hahaha. Got a nekomata (evolved from senri) and she's ripped good work nekomata you're actually good. 2x hit basic swing is great. So I found out over the weekend that almost every Famed type demon can't be fused normally. This is wildly disappointing my guys. I was under the impression they would use Persona art style as it's the "most up to date", next thing you know they're pulling SMT 1 out there ass. Seriously, Oberon is a fucking old dude. You know what I hate the most though? You have a demon you've been keeping for like 10+ levels now, and it's no good anymore and you try fusing it into something useful, you get shit that's lower level. God dammit Ose. Athough they seem to have a higher failure fusion rate in Persona games then in SMT IV. Like I've had maybe two fusions fail in this compared to at LEAST five in Persona 4. I always do that the first time. Nah I'm okay with not being able to fuse everything with everything else I just think they prolly coulda cut down the number of types because most of the time the real problem with fusing in smt4 is the damn fusion table is too big so there's a shitload of dead space ie. things that can't fuse with other things. otherwise the way skill fusion works is a billion times better than the other SMT games. Half my stock is crap that I can't do anything with unless I summon something else/go back and recruit...which is hard to do because the other half is my good stuff. No room. I'm okay with most of the new designs, and the use of old ones. They're not necessarily what I would have picked, but I think they generally look good. YUNG MASTERLESS GLENCOUR Posted July 30, 2013 Report Share Posted July 30, 2013 (edited) another problem i have is i dont like how small equipment list is especially given how enormous the demon list is and that they decided to have ur character reflect the gear he's wearing that bothers me cuz it feels like ur supposed to be making decisions n shit with how expensive stuff is and how it all does diff stuff but its generally really obvious what u should be using or its really obvious that it doesnt matter at all especially if u got that white samurai outfit since it's literally still as good as the best stuff i have available now like black demonica and duke sets, the duke shit of which is just showing up (I'm at lvl 37 currently) like if the game wants to have equipment represent ur way of modding stats and resist/null/weak to fit the build ur going for, then it should do that instead of just ending up being samurai outfit -> white samurai outfit forever or samurai -> mikado -> black demonica forever this also applies to weapons there doesn't ever seem to be a reason to pick anything aside from the stuff that looks most obviously like best weapon personally I think i've only had to buy bone sword and maybe 1 other weapon the rest are ones from quests my point is they shoulda balanced gear better and included more, and cut the fucking demon list down we dont need food and vermin type and we def don't need WOOD and TREE cmon man Edited July 30, 2013 by YUNG ADULT CONTEMPORARY Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Well once you get a new mission if u go into the blacksmith in Mikado he has some new armor available. That's the duke stuff. Basically it's the red chestpiece u see the hunters in Shinjuku wearing. Theirs is diff tho iirc its red and blue, the one u can buy is red and black there's also a green one and a metal one (I think they call it white or silver but it just looks like standard steel) there's new helmets and leggings of course, duke stuff that's cool that u got to cherub finally I bet it's got some sik skills for fusing honestly i'm eager to get up there so I can start fusing idiotically strong mid tier demons since they reshuffled a lot of stuff in weird ways in terms of demon level/strength (nekomata being so high and yoshitsune being so low for example) trust that I'll find a way to get a nekomata with high force pleroma and zandyne on it and prolly something equally stupid like high gun pleroma and whatever godly gun skill oh since I just mentioned it I'm gonna just put it out there: a lot of these hunter chicks are hot Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And shit, I can't get that armor this playthrough. Cherub isn't actually too bad. Knows Mediahran (Fucking finally have this), and knows Megidola. So I'm happy for the most part.
