Matchstick
I'm a big fan of the MT and would love to see a game based on useing them. I think there over looked cuz there very EZ to kill. There slow but some are a lot better. If you have a Fav MT post it i would love to see what ppl like. my fav MT is the CR-MT83RS Edited April 6, 2010 by Matchstick
sim-al2
I've always felt bad for them. They're the redshirts of the whole series. I saw a video not too long ago that looked like someone is devolping a game that features pilotable MT's but I can't remember where.
lanfear
I think the problem would be if you played one of the regular mt's you'd just die from an AC and even faster against a Next. Hmmmm so straight up wouldn't probably work in the setting.. maybe Squad based? more like front mission or that 360 Zoids game

Harakiri Tiger
Yah. Chromehounds really struck me as an MT based game. A game that focuses on MT's can just be centered, storyline wise, before the advent of the core unit. Then you won't have to worry about Armored Cores. You could even center right around when the Core Unit gets developed. Then you could name the game something like.... Armored MT: Last Zebra
Tsuranga
Yeah... I always feel sorry for MT's. They also make me wonder why companies even BOTHER hiring them and heli's. They always just get RAPED Cept for the aerial mt's in like SL and FA... those things were annoying as fuck. -And it's nice to see a acu member that actually talks about classic as and not other game BS. █␢█
Because it cost more to hire a Next and the parameters for being a pilot were alot more narrow, I guess (what with AMS capability and stuff). I suppose that the Nexts were like the end all or something.

Matchstick
haveing a MT based AC game would most likly be a hit or miss but i think it would put a new look on the story line if your playing the part of some random MT pilot. Griffon
I always liked the green ones with double gatlings from AC3, but I'd never want to play AS one if ACs were in the equation.

Pendragon
FOREMAN. If you know that name, you are officially an MT lover much like myself. His MT was a beautiful little piece of work, and if I had a squad of 4 of 6 of those, i'd be a happy man.
Geist X
There were some very power MTs in the Generation 1 games. The giant monster MT, and those Unmanned MTs in AC1 to name a few. Generally speaking, ACs have always been faster, had more firepower and more defense. If MTs were playable in the same game I'd balance them by giving them several times more ammo(to duplicate the almost endless ammo enemy MTs seem to have), making the ammo much cheaper, and making them much, much cheaper to fix. Otherwise I wouldn't have much incentive to use them.
YUNG MASTERLESS GLENCOUR
AC1 had the ninja MTs! Those were so rad. Oh and AC2 or AA had those MTs that kept upgrading over the course of the game...you do the missions to test em. By the end they were pretty fucking impressive. Hollywood
Well to be perfectly honest an AC is nothing more than a glorified MT since that is where it's origins come from. So in effect you are piloting an MT.
YUNG MASTERLESS GLENCOUR
Yeah it's just an MT with a Core basically. They even said that in the first AC iirc. They might have said it in other ones. The Core was the big breakthrough in the design of giant robots of doom in the From Software universe. Tsuranga
MT's are awesome XD and it strikes me as a really cool idea to have like a squad of mt's taking down an AC... kinda like capturing a legendary pokemon or some shit
Liarbird
I liked the MTs from Another Age that hovered, used plasma cannons and what looked like Gatling guns.

NiX
There's this fan-made game where you use MTs. We covered it before.http://ravenrepublic.net/2010/03/17/mt-bas...ored-core-game/Video demo: http://d.hatena.ne.jp/video/niconico/sm9717326 Unfortunately, I dunno where to get it. =/
Shirtless Crackhead
Someone linked that in chat awhile back, although it looked different. It would be kinda cool if I saw that on Xbox Arcade as an Indie Game.
